Jul. 1968
Established Kakizaki Manufacturing Co., Ltd., to manufacture and sell high-performance plastic products.
Jan. 1969
Succeeded in commercialization of silicon wafer cassettes made of fluorocarbon resin FEP for the first time in Japan, and constructed the Saitama Plant.
Jun. 1973
Started full-scale mass production of silicon wafer cassettes made of fluorocarbon resin PFA.
Oct. 1981
Increased production lines for silicon wafer cassettes in the Saitama Plant.
Established the Osaka Branch (Osaka-shi, Osaka) and Kyushu Branch (Fukuoka-shi Fukuoka).
Jan. 1982
Moved Head Office from Kyushu to Tokyo (Toshima-ku, Tokyo)

Set up the Kumamoto Operations Office and constructed the Kumamoto Plant (currently Tominohara Plant) at Shisui-cho, Kikuchi-shi, Kumamoto.

Established KAKIZAKI AMERICA INC. (Los Angeles, USA), as a wholly-owned subsidiary to gather information on semiconductors in the United States.
