Company History

Jul. 1968 Established Kakizaki Manufacturing Co., Ltd., to manufacture and sell high-performance plastic products.
Jan. 1969 Succeeded in commercialization of silicon wafer cassettes made of fluorocarbon resin FEP for the first time in Japan, and constructed the Saitama Plant.
Jun. 1973 Started full-scale mass production of silicon wafer cassettes made of fluorocarbon resin PFA.
Oct. 1981 Increased production lines for silicon wafer cassettes in the Saitama Plant.
Established the Osaka Branch (Osaka-shi, Osaka) and Kyushu Branch (Fukuoka-shi Fukuoka).
Jan. 1982 Moved Head Office from Kyushu to Tokyo (Toshima-ku, Tokyo)
Apr. 1984 Set up the Kumamoto Operations Office and constructed the Kumamoto Plant (currently Tominohara Plant) at Shisui-cho, Kikuchi-shi, Kumamoto.
Mar. 1989 Added Plant No.2 at Kumamoto Plant (currently Tominohara Plant) in Kumamoto Operations Office.
Mar. 1991 Plant No.3 added at Kumamoto Plant (currently Tominohara Plant) in Kumamoto Operations Office.
April 1994 Set up Tokyo Sales Office (Toshima-ku, Tokyo), Tohoku Sales Office (Sendai-shi, Miyagi, closed in March, 2002), Kansai Sales Office (Ibaraki-shi, Osaka), and Kyushu Sales Office (Shisui-cho, Kikuchi-shi, Kumamoto) to strengthen the sales network
Feb. 1996 Obtained ISO9002 (currently ISO9001) certification for Kumamoto Operations Office.
May 1996 Established KAKIZAKI AMERICA INC. (Los Angeles, USA), as a wholly-owned subsidiary to gather information on semiconductors in the United States.
Oct. 1999 Started sales of 300mm-silicon wafer shipping container, "FOSB."
Jan. 2001 Constructed Sumiyoshi Plant (Plant No.1) at Kumamoto Operations Office (Shisui-cho, Kikuchi-shi, Kumamoto), specializing in manufacture of 300mm silicon wafer shipping containers.
Aug. 2002 Optech Co., Ltd., is made a wholly owned subsidiary.
Aug. 2003 Changed company name to Miraial Co., Ltd.
Oct. 2003 Constructed Sumiyoshi Plant (Plant No.2) at Kumamoto Operations Office (Shisui-cho, Kikuchi-shi, Kumamoto), specializing in the manufacture of 300mm silicon wafer shipping containers.
Dec. 2003 Closed Saitama Plant.
Jan. 2004 Obtained ISO14001 certificate for the Kumamoto Operations Office.
Jun. 2004 Closed KAKIZAKI AMERICA INC. (Los Angeles, USA).
Jan. 2005 Closed wholly owned subsidiary Optech Co., Ltd.
Jul. 2005 Listed stock on the Jasdaq Securities Exchange.
Jan. 2006 Wholly owned subsidiaries Kakizaki America Inc., and Optech Co., Ltd., liquidated.
Dec. 2006 Acquired 70% stake in Sanjo Seiki Co., Ltd., to make it a subsidiary.
May 2007 Constructed Sumiyoshi Plant (Plant No.3) to specialize in the manufacture of 300mm silicon wafer shipping containers to meet increased demand.
Jul. 2007 Relocated the Kumamoto Operations Office's administrative department and the Kyushu Sales Office from the Tominohara Plant to the Sumiyoshi Plant
Apr. 2010 Listed stock on the JASDAQ Standard section of the Osaka Securities Exchange in conjunction with a merger between the securities exchanges
Mar. 2011 Made Sanjo Seiki Co., Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary
Nov. 2011 Listed stock on the Second Section, Tokyo Stock Exchange
